This product is specifically designed for the rear suspension system of the BYD Qin Pro DM-i (including DM dual-mode plug-in hybrid version). It is a core load-bearing component of the multi-link independent suspension connecting the rear wheel to the subframe—the rear trailing arm assembly. The rear trailing arm acts as the "skeletal joint" of the rear suspension system, firmly connecting the rear wheel to the vehicle body,承受ing longitudinal impact forces and lateral forces during driving, while cushioning road vibrations through rubber bushings. It is a critical chassis component for ensuring handling stability, ride comfort, and uniform tire wear.

The BYD Qin Pro DM-i features a multi-link independent rear suspension structure, tuned by former Mercedes-Benz chassis tuning expert Heinz Keck, balancing comfort and sporty handling. The rear suspension design follows the "chopstick suspension" structure derived from Toyota, consisting of three steel tubular arms. Unlike the flagship Tang DM which uses aluminum alloy control arms, the Qin Pro DM-i uses steel components for cost control. The Qin Pro DM-i is equipped with a 1.5T turbocharged engine + electric motor DM dual-mode plug-in hybrid system, with increased overall vehicle weight compared to the fuel version, placing higher demands on the load-bearing capacity of rear suspension components. Due to the addition of battery packs and electronic control systems in plug-in hybrid models, the chassis height is reduced and ground clearance is decreased, increasing the risk of chassis damage to some extent.
