Every valve is individually hydrostatically tested to EN 1074-1/-2 at 24 bar shell and 18 bar seat.

GGG50 Ductile Iron Body & Bonnet
Ductile iron EN-GJS-500-7 provides 500 MPa tensile strength, 320 MPa yield, and minimum 7% elongation — approximately double the strength and seven times the ductility of gray cast iron (GG25). This material absorbs water hammer transients, pipe stress, and accidental impact through deformation rather than fracture, providing a fundamental safety margin that gray iron cannot offer.
Stainless Steel Stem & Fasteners
SS420/SS431 stem with precision-rolled trapezoidal threads and A2-70 stainless steel fasteners throughout — no carbon steel components in contact with the service environment. This ensures long-term operability and serviceability: the valve that is closed today will still open when needed in 15 years.
100% Fusion Bonded Epoxy Coating
Electrostatically applied, oven-cured FBE at minimum 250 um DFT on all internal and external surfaces. Every valve is individually spark-tested at 3 kV for pinhole detection. This thermosetting polymer barrier protects the ductile iron substrate from corrosion in buried service, treated water, and aggressive atmospheric conditions.
Bronze Stem Nut — Self-Lubricating Operation
The high-strength bronze stem nut provides inherently low-friction, self-lubricating performance without external grease. Combined with the roll-finished stainless steel stem threads, this ensures smooth, consistent handwheel torque over thousands of operating cycles.
