The Resilient Seat DIN Standard Gate Valve PN16 OS&Y DIN3352 F4 (Model 1004M) is a premium ductile iron gate valve engineered for municipal water distribution, wastewater treatment, irrigation, and industrial fluid isolation. Manufactured by Shandong Huaze Valve Co., Ltd. — a specialized valve producer with over 25 years of experience since 1998 — this valve is designed in strict compliance with DIN 3352 F4 and tested per EN 1074-1/-2 standards.
The OS&Y (Outside Screw & Yoke) design keeps stem threads outside the pressure boundary — accessible for lubrication, protected from the fluid medium, and providing clear visual open/closed indication from a distance. The full-bore waterway ensures minimum head loss, no sediment accumulation, and full compatibility with pipeline cleaning pigs.
The entire valve body and bonnet are cast from GGG50 ductile iron (EN-GJS-500-7), offering roughly double the tensile strength and significantly better impact resistance than conventional gray cast iron — critical for buried service and high-cycle municipal duty.

100% Fusion Bonded Epoxy Coating
Every internal and external surface receives electrostatically applied, oven-cured FBE coating at minimum 250 μm DFT. Spark-tested at 3 kV for pinhole-free coverage. This provides an impermeable corrosion barrier in aggressive soils and treated water — far superior to conventional liquid epoxy paint.
Full-Encapsulation EPDM Wedge
The ductile iron wedge core is fully vulcanized within a seamless EPDM elastomer envelope. Unlike bonded rubber facings that risk delamination, this monobloc design guarantees zero leakage at the seat — cycle after cycle — at full rated test pressure (18 bar) in both directions. EPDM compound is WRAS-compatible for potable water applications.
OS&Y Rising Stem — Visible Safety
Rolled stainless steel SS420/SS431 stem with trapezoidal threads sits entirely outside the pressure envelope. Operators can see gate position at a glance. In-situ lubrication and packing adjustment are possible without shutdown or depressurization — a major maintenance advantage.
Full Bore, Low Head Loss
Smooth, unobstructed flow path with waterway ID matching pipe ID — negligible pressure drop, no sediment pocketing, and full piggability for pipeline maintenance. Lower pumping energy costs across the entire system lifecycle.
Designed for Maintenance
Top-entry bonnet with EPDM gasket allows full disassembly for wedge and seat inspection. Bronze stem nut provides low-friction self-lubrication. Gland packing is adjustable and replaceable under pressure. Every component is serviceable — designed for a 30+ year operating life.
