SGCC Z100g Galvanized Steel Coil Hot Dipped Width 2.5mm * 1220mm Zero Spangle is a premium cold-rolled steel sheet coated with zinc through a hot-dip galvanizing process, featuring zero spangle surface finish.
Galvanized steel coil and GI steel coil refer to the same product, which is cold rolled steel sheet coated with zinc. Also known as galvanized iron or GI, this material is produced by passing cold rolled steel sheet through a molten zinc bath.
This material is widely used in construction, home appliances, automobile containers, transportation, and various industrial applications. It offers excellent coating adhesion and weldability, making it an ideal base metal for PPGI products.
Galvanized steel provides superior resistance to atmospheric corrosion. Since zinc has a lower electrochemical potential than iron, the zinc layer acts as a sacrificial anode, protecting the steel substrate from corrosion.
