ASTM S235jr S275jr Hot Rolled Carbon Steel H Beam Rolled Steel Section for Structural Applications
Beams, also known as steel beams, are cross-sectional H-shaped strip steel. There are three main types: I-beams (regular I-beel and light beams), and H-beams.
Beams are widely used in various building structures, bridges, vehicles, supports, machinery, and other applications.
Common beams and light beams feature wing roots that thin toward the edges at a specific angle. Standard beams and light beams are identified by model numbers representing their waist height in centimeters. Different specifications are distinguished by waist height (h) × waist thickness × leg width (b) × leg thickness (d). For example, "I-beam 160×88×6" indicates a waist height of 160mm, leg width of 88mm, and leg thickness of 6mm for standard beams. "Light beam 160×81×5" indicates a waist height of 160mm, leg width of 81mm, and waist thickness of 5mm for light beams.
