- Reinforcement inspection first to check the badge number and certificate of quality
- Visual inspection: 5% sampling from every batch to check for cracks, trauma, lamination, and surface bumps
- Defect depth and height deviations must not exceed permitted positions
- Bending should not exceed 4mm per meter
- Mechanical properties test: 2 samples extracted per batch (if less than 60 tons)
- Specimen removal: 100-500mm from both ends
- Double sampling for retesting if initial results are non-compliant
- Special inspection for brittle fracture, abnormal welding performance, or mechanical property issues
