Product Overview
ASTM A312 TP304L is the low carbon version of the 304 grade, with a carbon content of 0.035% maximum. This chemistry greatly reduces the risk of intergranular carbide precipitation, so the pipe maintains its corrosion resistance even after welding without requiring post-weld annealing.
TP304L pipe is widely chosen for fabricated pipework and welded assemblies where field welding is unavoidable, offering excellent toughness from cryogenic temperatures up to approximately 870°C in continuous service.
