Equipment Design
The plating line is built on an A3 structural steel frame with an epoxy-coated surface for corrosion protection. The main structure integrates support plates, columns, walkways, flat wire components, and horizontal adjustment points to provide a stable operating platform.
Workpiece Transfer & Positioning
The transfer system combines horizontal travel with vertical jig lifting. Geared brake motors provide smooth movement, while induction-based deceleration and positioning help maintain accurate stopping points.
The lifting mechanism uses a geared motor, reducer, coupling, and high-strength acid-resistant belt. Horizontal and vertical movements are controlled through the PLC and frequency converter, with three selectable speeds to reduce starting inertia and transporter vibration.
Automation & Safety
The control system incorporates Mitsubishi PLC and inverters, a Kunlun Tongtai touchscreen, and Omron sensors and control components. Automatic and manual operating modes are available, allowing adjustment of process residence time, transfer speed, and lifting speed.
The control program supports interruption recovery and power-failure memory. Emergency-stop devices are installed throughout the line for safe operation and maintenance.
Control Cabinet
The control cabinet features organized wiring, clear component identification, English operating labels, and a practical layout for inspection and maintenance. The enclosure is designed to provide protection against moisture and corrosion.
