Our Hydropower Butterfly Valve is specially engineered as core flow control and isolation equipment for hydropower stations, turbine inlet systems, reservoir dams, water diversion pipelines, and hydraulic engineering projects. Adopting advanced double-eccentric/triple-eccentric structure design, it integrates functions of cut-off, throttling, emergency shutdown, and pressure regulation.
With compact layout, low flow resistance, ultra-tight sealing, and stable operation, it perfectly adapts to high-flow, high-pressure, and complex water quality working conditions in hydropower industries, serving as the preferred solution for hydropower pipeline safety control.
Valve body adopts high-strength ductile iron QT450-10, cast steel WCB, or stainless steel. The streamlined butterfly disc is integrally cast with optimized fluid design, effectively avoiding water flow flutter and deformation under high velocity.
The whole body is treated with epoxy anti-corrosion coating, resisting erosion from clean water, sediment-laden water, and seawater, adapting to long-term outdoor and underground harsh working environments.
Optional soft seal (EPDM/NBR rubber) and metal hard seal solutions: soft seal achieves zero leakage (ANSI Class VI) for conventional hydropower systems; metal hard seal suits high-temperature and high-pressure working conditions, with wear resistance and long service life.
Eccentric structure reduces friction between seal and seat ring, lowering opening/closing torque and extending sealing lifespan.
The main shaft is made of stainless alloy steel, featuring high toughness, anti-rust, and anti-fatigue performance. Precision bearing and self-lubricating bushing design ensure flexible rotation, no jamming, and minimal maintenance.
- Low Flow Resistance: Streamlined disc design, flow resistance coefficient as low as 0.1, greatly reducing water delivery energy consumption and improving power generation efficiency.
- Safe Emergency Shutdown: Matched with electro-hydraulic actuator, supporting two-stage fast-slow closing; adjustable closing time to effectively prevent water hammer impact and protect pipelines and generating units.
