Inclined Multi-Tube Water-Cooled Drum Slag Cooler with High Wear & High-Temperature Resistance and 0-16t/h Adjustable Output
Our Inclined Multi-Tube Water-Cooled Drum Slag Cooler is a high-efficiency energy-saving heat exchange and slag conveying equipment specifically designed for CFB boilers, bubbling fluidized bed boilers, industrial furnaces, and waste incinerators.
Featuring an inclined rotary drum structure with dense internal cooling tubes, this equipment directly contacts high-temperature bottom slag (up to 950°C) to rapidly cool ash to below 100°C while fully recovering waste heat from hot slag. It integrates slag cooling, transportation, and waste heat recycling into a single unit, addressing critical challenges in high-temperature slag handling, environmental pollution, and energy waste across thermal power, chemical, metallurgical, and garbage power industries.
The drum is set at an optimal inclined angle, allowing hot slag to flow forward under gravity without relying solely on spiral blades. This design reduces material abrasion on internal components, stabilizes slag output, and prevents blockage even during fluctuating slag discharge volumes.
Multiple independent cooling tubes are evenly arranged inside the drum, providing a heat exchange area 3.5 times larger than traditional sleeve-type slag coolers. Each tube bears uniform slag load, ensuring complete heat exchange between cooling water and hot slag for outstanding cooling performance.
Dynamic and static sealing rings are cast from 12Cr1MoV high-temperature alloy, resisting thermal deformation and leakage under long-term high-temperature working conditions. A built-in reverse material return system collects fine ash leakage back into the drum, maintaining workshop cleanliness without secondary dust pollution.
Front flange quick connection design enables convenient disassembly for replacement of cooling tubes and wear parts. The independent base requires no special foundation—only expansion bolts are needed for installation, significantly reducing civil construction costs and installation cycles.
Chain sprocket transmission absorbs shock loads from uneven slag feeding, ensuring steady drum rotation and extending the service life of drive motors and reducers. Variable frequency speed regulation supports flexible adjustment of slag output from 0-16t/h to match boiler load changes.
- Raw slag inlet temperature: ≤950°C
- Discharged slag outlet temperature: ≤100°C
- Cooling water outlet temperature reaches 80-90°C, recoverable for boiler deaerators, heating, or production process water
- Equivalent to an additional low-pressure heater for the unit
- For a 5t/h slag output boiler, recovered heat equals saving 185kg standard coal per hour
- Cuts over 1,300 tons coal consumption annually under 300-day full-load operation
- Safe Production Upgrade: Low-temperature dry slag eliminates high-temperature burning risks during transportation, compatible with belt conveyors, bucket elevators and other common conveying equipment
- Comprehensive Slag Reuse: Cooled dry furnace slag becomes premium raw material for cement, energy-saving bricks and road aggregates, creating extra by-product revenue
- Low Operation Cost: Low power consumption (1.1-5.5kW motor), low cooling water consumption (~4 tons water per ton slag), minimal wear parts replacement frequency
- Full Safety Protection: Equipped with water flow interlock, low water pressure protection and emergency pressure relief valve to prevent dry burning accidents from water cutoff
