The JGB599 III Series MIL-DTL-38999 III Electrical Connector is a compact, lightweight, high-density circular connector designed for reliable electrical signal connection in harsh environments. Compliant with GJB599B / MIL-DTL-38999M Series III standards, this connector series provides high mechanical reliability, strong environmental resistance, and flexible contact configuration for advanced electronic systems.
The connector adopts a triple-start threaded quick connection structure with an anti-loosening mechanism. This design enables quick mating and unmating while maintaining secure locking performance under vibration and shock. Its high-density contact layout helps reduce installation space, while the lightweight structure supports system weight reduction. The built-in electromagnetic shielding function helps protect signal transmission from electromagnetic interference and improves performance stability in complex electrical environments.
This series supports removable contacts with press-fit, solder, and PCB termination options. The anti-misalignment insertion design helps prevent incorrect assembly and improves contact positioning accuracy. For mixed transmission requirements, 12# and 16# contact positions can be used with fiber optic contacts, while 12#, 10#, and 8# positions are suitable for coaxial or shielded contacts. This allows the connector to integrate electrical signal, optical fiber, coaxial, and shielded transmission in one connector system.
The product is mainly used for electrical signal connections and is suitable for environments with strong vibration, rain, wind-blown sand, and humidity. Shell material options include aluminum alloy, stainless steel, and titanium alloy. Insulators are available in thermosetting or thermoplastic plastic, and seals and gaskets are made of silicone rubber. Plating options include W cadmium green, F chemical nickel, K stainless steel passivation, FT aluminum alloy nickel plating, and TA titanium alloy. Copper alloy contacts provide reliable conductivity and are available in multiple termination styles. With 500 mating cycles, 3 ms half-sine shock resistance up to 300g, 60g sine vibration resistance, and random vibration resistance under both high-temperature and ambient-temperature conditions, this connector is ideal for aerospace systems, defense electronics, communication equipment, industrial control systems, vehicle-mounted electronics, and other high-reliability signal interconnection applications.
