VNMG-BF 35° Rhombic Turning Insert with BF Chipbreaker for Finishing Steel
VNMG-BF is an ISO standard 35° rhombic (V-shape) negative rake indexable carbide turning insert with BF dedicated finishing chipbreaker.
Product Overview
The 35° acute vertex angle enables superior reach for profiling, internal boring and complex curved profiles, which is hard to achieve by 80° or 55° inserts. The BF chipbreaker adopts optimized 3D groove geometry specially tuned for finishing parameters: small ap and low feed rate. It effectively curls and breaks thin chips, suppresses built-up edge, protects finished surface and ensures consistent chip evacuation.
Precision edge honing balances sharpness and micro-chipping resistance. Available with multilayer PVD coating, the insert delivers outstanding abrasive wear resistance and thermal stability for continuous finishing operations on carbon steel and alloy steel. Each insert owns four usable cutting edges to reduce tooling cost.
