T-706 Benzotriazole/BTA

DESCRIPTION

This product has special anti-corrosion performance: Form a dense chelating film on copper, brass, bronze, and silver to inhibit discoloration and corrosion. It also provide auxiliary rust prevention for steel and aluminum.

It could be used for antirust oil/grease, hydraulic oil, gear oil, metal working fluid, VCI paper, and corrosion inhibitor for circulating water.

Compatibility: With T-701, T-704, T-705; It could make oil solubility better blended with T-406. (Oil soluble BTA)

REFERENCE DOSAGE

The reference dosage in antirust oil products should be from 0.1%-0.5%; 

The reference dosage in hydraulic/gear oil products should be from 0.05%-0.2%;

The reference dosage in grease products should be from 0.1%-0.3%; 

SPECIFICATIONS

Copper corrosion (100 °C , 3h) 0 grade; (GB/T5096)

Damp Heat Test (Copper): A grade (no rust) (GB/T2361)

Brass/pure copper (100 °C , 24h): no corrosion, no discoloration. (GB/T7326)

STORAGE

This product shall be stored, loaded & unloaded and blended according to SH/T0164.  The high temperature shall not exceed 75°C, and not exceed 45°C for long term storage. It is nonflammable, non-explosive and in-corrosive, and it is same as the common petroleum products in the aspects of security, environmental protection and use etc. Special protection is not needed.
