  • Pre-LCI (2019-2022): Tail lights are directly powered by the Body Domain Controller (BDC) via individual wires for each function.

  • LCI (2023+): Each tail light contains a built-in control module (RLM) that communicates with the vehicle via CAN bus data signals, rather than direct power lines.

• Retrofit Requirement: For Pre-LCI (2019-2022) owners wanting to install these LCI tail lights, a plug-and-play wiring adapter and coding are required. Without the adapter, the lights will not function properly.
