The power end crankshaft rotates via power source drive, connected to three identical connecting rods. Each connecting rod links to pistons through crossheads and piston rods, converting rotational motion into reciprocating linear piston movement.
During backward piston motion, negative pressure forms in the pump cylinder, drawing mud through the suction pipe via atmospheric pressure. Forward piston motion compresses mud in the cylinder, increasing pressure for discharge through the drainage pipe. This continuous cycle enables efficient mud transportation.
