It is used to attenuate input optical power and avoid distortion caused by the optical receiver due to excessive input power. As a passive optical device, it is used for debugging optical power performance, calibration of optical fiber instruments, and optical fiber signal attenuation. The product is made of attenuating fiber doped with metal ions, which can adjust optical power to required levels.
