Product Description
PD132 High Sensitivity Single/Double Channel Inductive Loop Detector
Loop detectors are essential for vehicle detection applications including access monitoring, security systems,
and traffic control. The output signals can operate door and gate mechanisms, control barriers, manage traffic
light systems in parking facilities, and activate card dispensers.
This direction-detecting loop detector features vehicle flux statistics capability. The system operates by
detecting changes in loop inductance caused by metallic components of passing vehicles. A microprocessor
evaluates these changes, and automatic calibration occurs when operating voltage is applied for ease of use.
Application Scope
- Parking lot entrance vehicle detection
- Parking space information acquisition systems
- Electronic traffic light snapshot systems
- Traffic monitoring systems

Operation Indicators
Upon power application, the detector enters self-calibration mode with green LED flashing and red LED off
for approximately 1 second. Vehicles should not be present on loops during calibration. After calibration,
the green LED stops flashing and red LED remains off. When a vehicle passes over the loop, the red LED illuminates.
DIP Switch and Wire Jumper Configuration
DIP1 and DIP2 control sensitivity settings. DIP3 adjusts presence output time for relay 1. DIP4 configures
relay 2 for presence/pulse output. DIP5 sets presence signal output time. DIP6 controls frequency settings.
Jumper wire connection to open end connects PIN16 to NO of relay 1; connection to close end connects PIN16 to NC of relay 1.
Work Frequency Selection
Users can modify loop operating frequency to prevent cross-talk from adjacent loops or environmental frequency
interference. Two frequency styles are available, configurable via DIP6.
Sensitivity Adjustment
Sensitivity is adjustable using DIP1 and DIP2 on the front panel. If vehicle detection fails during testing,
increase sensitivity settings accordingly.
