Application Guidelines
Jar Testing Procedure
Add designated amount to effluent sample in beaker, agitate at 100-120 rpm for 1 minute, then reduce to 60 rpm. Observe floc formation, sedimentation rate, and top solution clarity.
Dispersion & Dissolving
Dissolving time varies by flocculant type, water quality, temperature, and agitation. Most flocculants require approximately 1 hour of agitation for complete dissolution. Incomplete mixing may cause lumping and reduce performance.
Operating Parameters
Agitation speed: 200-400 rpm ideal range. High-speed operation without motor revolution reduction may damage polymer molecules.
Safety Precautions
Wear appropriate PPE including splash goggles, lab coats, vapor respirators, gloves, and boots. Immediately wash skin splashes with water. For eye exposure, flush with fresh water and seek medical attention. Do not inject. Refer to MSDS for complete safety information.
