This 2W025-08 / UD-08 solenoid valve has a port size that is 1/4” inch female threaded. The orifice size is 2.5mm and the CV value is 0.23. This valve is not recommended for gravity fed systems because of the small orifice size. The seal material is NBR, and Viton Rubber is also available.
The coil head is fitted with a wire lead that can easily be connected with your own choice of terminals. The top of the coil features a label that indicates the valve type and specifications. Its response time is very low; in fact, it acts in less than one second, making it a great choice for all types of applications.
This model works best mounted in an upright position with the coil on top. The body features a stamped arrow on the valve body to indication the direction of flow. The valve body is threaded at the base and can quickly be mounted with 5mm machine screws.

Brando has a variety of 2/2 way brass solenoid valves. They have 2 ports (1 inlet and 1 outlet) and 2 electromechanically controlled switching states (open or closed). They are only used to start / stop media flow and are usually closed most often (power on), so if the power fails, the valve will close. They can also be designed as normally open (power off) or bistable (latch).
There are multiple selection criteria from orifice size, connection type, voltage, pressure range, operation, design, certification, sealing materials and housing materials to ensure you have the valve that is right for your application. Our port sizes range from 1/8 inch to 2 inches and can meet the requirements of most applications, but for applications beyond this range, we also serve you.
