An Evaporator Pressure Regulator (EPR) is a mechanical or electronic valve installed in the suction line of a refrigeration or air-conditioning system. Its primary function is to prevent the pressure (and thus the temperature) inside the evaporator from dropping below a specific, preset minimum.
