Solenoid Valve For Afiflo 2000 Milking System Electronic Digital Milk Meter

The solenoid valve used for the Afikim AfiFlo 2000 milk meter is a specialized 24VDC pneumatic solenoid valve that controls the vacuum/air signal used to operate the milk-meter drain valve. It is not a conventional milk-contacting liquid solenoid valve.

The AfiFlo 2000 shows that the milk-meter body contains a silicone diaphragm, cylindrical valve and solenoid valve. When the solenoid is energized, vacuum acting through the solenoid line pulls the diaphragm and opens the milk valve to release a measured portion of milk.
