How to choose a right solenoid armature?

During the choose of the Solenoid Armature, you should pay attention to below factors:

1. Working voltage: AC or DC

2. Switching function: 2/2 or 3/2way;

3. De-energized state: Normal close, normal open or Divert

4. Stroke of the matched valve body

5. Valve’s orifice

6. Working environment: working medium, temperature, pressure of pipeline etc

How does an armature assembly work?

When the working current passing through the coil, a magnetic field is generated around the coil. The electromagnetic force drives the moving iron core to overcome the resistance of the spring to move upward, and it is absorbed with the static iron core.

When the coil is powered off, the electromagnetic force disappears, and the moving iron core is reset downward under the action of the spring force.
