The 2L series solenoid valve is a well proven 2 port 2 way pilot piston design. The 2L series is normally closed and has been designed to control high temperature water and steam up to 185 degrees C. Steam Solenoid valves are usually used in boiler and heating systems which require valves with PTFE seals (Rated up to 180 Deg C) and Solid Servo Metal Pistons instead of rubber diaphragms that has limited Temperature Resistance - which can usually only handle up to 140 deg C. The Steam Valves dispalyed below are designed for high temperatures up to 180 Degree C.
