Stainless Steel 2 way normally open solenoid valves or fail-safe open solenoid valves will default to the open position allowing the flow of media, these 2 way NO solenoid valves will only close when electrical power is applied. Generally normally open solenoid valves are stocked in sizes from 3/8'' up to 3" thread.

Stainless Steel diaphragm valves also known as assisted close, zero rated and direct acting 2/2 way normally open brass solenoid valves will operate from zero pressure differential, i.e. will function with or without pressure differences and are generally available from port sizes from 3/8'' through to 2'' BSP or NPT thread, seal options NBR, EPDM or FKM. Zero rated fail open brass solenoid valves are ideally suited to closed loop systems, gravity fed systems and low pressure systems.
