PP (polypropylene) is a crystalline resin, is representative of the general plastic.With a specific gravity of 0.9, it is the lightest in general plastics and has excellent chemical resistance, water resistance and electrical properties. As a kind of plastic with a wide range of applications, it is widely used in various fields.Polypropylene is a kind of compound with good rigidity and toughness at high temperature, which can be used in steam disinfection.Polypropylene is also a low density, high gloss material.In olefin products, polypropylene has the highest tensile strength, high tensile coefficient but relatively weak crash resistance.Polypropylene has good fatigue resistance, excellent wear resistance, very low friction coefficient comparable to nylon.Nylon, however, comes with a lubricity that makes it more resistant to wear than polypropylene.Polypropylene has excellent chemical resistance, can withstand dilute acid, strong acid (except oxidized acid), alkali, alcohol, detergent and water.Polypropylene is resistant to aromatic hydrocarbon compounds, chlorine compounds, fats, and petroleum at room temperature of 140℉.
