Heat exchanger is a device for transferring part of the heat from hot fluids to cold fluids. Heat exchanger plays an important role in chemical, petroleum, power, food and many other industrial production. Heat exchanger has been widely used in chemical production,as heater, cooler, condenser, evaporator and reboiler, etc..

 

The manufacturing process of spiral flat pipe includes "flattening" and "hot twisting".The improved twist tube heat exchanger is as simple as the traditional shell and tube heat exchanger, but there are many exciting advances. It has obtained the following technical and economic benefits: improved heat transfer, reduced scaling, true countercurrent, reduced cost, no vibration, saving space, no baffle element.

 

Due to the unique structure of the tube, the tube and shell are in spiral motion at the same time, which promotes the degree of turbulence.The total heat transfer coefficient of the heat exchanger is 40% higher than that of the conventional heat exchanger, while the pressure drop is almost the same.When assembling heat exchanger, spiral flat tube and smooth tube can also be used.The heat exchanger is manufactured in strict accordance with ASME standards.Where shell and tube heat exchangers and conventional devices are used, such heat exchangers can be replaced.It can obtain the best value of common shell and tube heat exchanger and plate and frame heat transfer equipment, and has broad application prospect in chemical and petrochemical industry.

Application


During boiler operation in typical commercial and industrial applications, approximately 10-20% of the heating value of fuel is expelled with the stack gases to the atmosphere. Stack economizers are designed to recover significant amounts of this stack gas energy loss, thereby vastly improving boiler system efficiency. There are several considerations when selecting an economizer:

• Gas-side Pressure Drop. Added back-pressure on the boiler stack affects the combustion air fan throughput capability. The economizer and combustion air fan(s) must be sized properly in order to assure a suitable system operation and capacity.

• Feedwater Temperature. The feedwater to the economizer must be deaerated and the temperature setpoint minimally at 220oF to prevent tube corrosion.

• Water-side Pressure Drop. Feedwater pumps must be sized to accommodate the economizer pressure drop. Additionally, a continuous modulating feedwater system is required to ensure proper flow rates through the economizer.
