Convection tube description


Convection tube is the convection heating surface of boiler. Its function is to absorb the heat of high temperature flue gas, increase the boiler heating surface.

The heat absorption of convection tube bundle is related to the flow rate of flue, the arrangement of pipes and the scour of flue gas. There are several kinds of convection tube arrangement and flue gas scour tube bundle.

 

Difference between convection tube and water wall tube

The difference between boiler convection tube bundle and water wall tube;

1, the heat transfer mode is different: in the boiler directly heated to produce saturated steam heating surface called evaporation heating surface. Including water wall tube and convection tube bundle, water wall is mainly through the way of radiation heat transfer, the heat transfer furnace to the pot water in the tube, so called radiation heating surface. Convective evaporative tube bundle receives heat from flue gas by means of convective heat transfer, so it is called convective heating surface.

2, the location is different: the water wall is arranged around the furnace, and the convection tube bundle is arranged in the middle and rear of the furnace.
