FTTX OS2 LC/APC FO Fiber Patch Cables OS2 Single Mode
OS2 single mode E9/125 LC/APC FO Standard Fiber Patch Cables are designed for cross-connecting installed cables and connecting communications equipment to the cable plant. Proper patch cord selection is critical for optimal network performance.
Network Performance Considerations
The performance of fiber optic networks can be compromised by improper patch cord selection. Ensure fiber type matches your cable plant: use 50/125 patchcords with 50/125 fibers, 62.5/125 with 62.5/125 fibers. While exact fiber type matching isn't always required (OM3 patchcords work with OM2 or OM4 cable plants), singlemode fibers with different mode field diameters should use matching patchcords.
