Pup joint is a short version of tubing pipe, which are regularly used for well production and workover operations.
In order to run the tubing pipe, downhole production or workover tools to the designed depth, some short tubing pipe, that is pup joint will be used in lengths of 2', 4', 6', 8' or 10'. Other lengths are available upon requirements.
The Oil pup joint complies with API Spec 5CT, API Spec 5B Standard, the detailed specification is as follows:
