Drain cover is usually used in the side of the road and swage treatment plant, it is for water drainage.Trench Drain Cover Gratings are steel lattice panels formed with simple lines, secured with hinged lid and connection. Ideal replacement drainage covers for conventional cast iron materials. Suitable for light type and large span heavy loading environment. Widely used in sewage treatment system in urban roads, squares, gardens, docks, airports, parking lots, roads, railways, industrial engineering and other types of industrial buildings.
 
Trench cover is another usage of steel grating, it's usually used in drainage system, like sewage treatment plant, port drainage channels, and plaza drainage system. As our products are mostly hot dip galvanzied, it can resist corrision and rust. Moreover, we can produce different size of steel grating for customers according to different load capacity requirement, shape request, etc.
 
We produce three kinds of steel gratings, they are Plain Style Steel Grating, Serrated Style Steel Grating
 
and I Bar Type Steel Grating.

1) Bearing Bar (Load Bar) Specifications (mm):
The specification of plain type and serrated type bearing bar is 20 x 3 to 100 x 10;
2) Bearing Bar Pitch (center to center):
12.5, 15, 25, 30, 30.16, 32.5, 34, 40, 41.25, 45, 50, 60, 60.32, 80, 100 mm etc, also be according to client's requirement but 30, 40, 60mm are recommended.
America standard is available <1'' x 3/16'', 1 1/4'' x 3/16'', 1-1/2'' x 3/16'', 1'' x 1/4'', 1-1/4'' x 1/4'', 1 1/2'' x 1/4''(19-w-4) and so on.>
3) Cross Bar Pitch (center to center):
38, 50, 76, 100, 101.6mm etc, also be according to client's requirement and 50, 100mm are recommended, America standard is available.
4) Material:
Mild Steel (Low Carbon Steel ASTM A36 or Q235) , Stainless Steel 304 or 316
5) Surface Treatment:
Untreated, Painting or Hot dip Galvanizing

Tolerance of grating steel
 
The allowed deviation of length is +0/-5mm, while the allowed deviation of width is +/-5 mm.
The non-perpendicularity of bearing bar is allowed no more than 10% of width of bearing bar.
Cross bar surface should not surpass bearing bar surface 1mm, beginning & end of cross bar should not
 
surpass the end surfaces of two sides of grating 2mm.
