Introduction

TRCN series desilter is the second and third class solids control equipment to treat the drilling fluids. According to the size of hydrocyclone diameter, they are divided into desander and desilter. Usually cyclone diameter less than 6” is called desilter, and used as the third control equipment in drilling operation. We commonly use 5” and 4” cyclone to separate solid phase particle size 15 to 47 um in drilling fluid. Based on customer requirements and capacity, we can select groups of hydrocyclone into desilter. The desilter of TR Solids Control is widely used in oil drilling and horizontal directional drilling.

Our desilter is used to isolate silts from drilling muds. The cut point can be as low as 4“. When muds are being used in drilling operations, they are contaminated with silts. In order to use again these muds, it is necessary to separate silts and also to recycle slurry to dispose them at the end of work duty.
