Introduction
Mud agitator is a kind of solids control equipment combined of reducer and explosion-proof motor. It’s easy to maintain, and suitable for use in the field of harsh conditions. Mud agitator has a large agitation strength, wide spread, and can reduce starting torque.
The cuttings are a major component of the harmful solid phase. To remove the harmful solid phase, they must be suspended, and then injected into the desander, desilter and centrifuge can be achieved. Useful solid phases, such as various aggravating materials (hematite powder, barite powder) and small amount of bentonite, they also need to be suspended evenly to keep stable density and other properties of the drilling fluid. Therefore, mud agitator is required to reliably and continuously operate to avoid precipitation of the solid phase.
