Main Introduction

Mud guns are usually used with a mud agitator mounted in the center of the mud tank. In the drilling mud treatment system, mud guns are commonly used in lifting tanks, mud mixing tanks and mud storage tanks.

Mud guns are used to agitate compartments or bulkheads and are generally used in conjunction with mud agitators, theoretically after final solids control. In solids control systems, drilling fluid or drilling mud is sprayed and agitated through mud guns. The tank bottom mud can be stirred evenly, especially in the sub-bin under the final solid phase control equipment.
