Introduction

The TRCN series desilter is a type of solids control equipment designed for the treatment of drilling fluids. These devices are classified into desander and desilter based on the size of their hydrocyclones. Typically, cyclone diameters less than 6 inches are referred to as desilters and serve as the third-class control equipment in drilling operations. Commonly used sizes include 5 inches and 4 inches, which can separate solid phase particles with sizes ranging from 15 to 47 microns in drilling fluid.

Desilters can be customized based on customer requirements and capacity. The TR Solids Control desilter is widely employed in oil drilling and horizontal directional drilling applications.

Our desilter is specifically designed to isolate silts from drilling muds. The cutting point can be as low as 4 inches. When drilling muds are utilized in operations, they often become contaminated with silts. In order to reuse these muds, it is crucial to remove the silts and also recycle the slurry to dispose of them at the end of the working shift.
