Brief Introduction
 
Drilling vertical cutting dryers are oil sludge dryers for treating oilfield slurry, and also called vertical centrifuges from structure. They are equipped with good treatment effect, advanced design and long service time. Vertical cutting dryer belongs to a type of environmental protection equipment in oilfield mud industry.
 
TR series vertical cutting dryer is also known as filter centrifuges. It’s a kind of centrifugal separator that uses filtering method to separate components from suspension liquid. There are many holes on the wall of vertical cutting dryer drum, and the inner surface of drum covers filter media. The suspension liquid added to the drum generates a huge centrifugal pressure by rotating with drum. Under pressure, the liquid in suspension is thrown away by flowing through filter medium and the hole in the wall of the drum, and the solid is trapped on the surface of filter medium, thus we realize solids and liquids separation. Centrifugal force generated by the suspension in the rotating drum is thousands of times that of gravity, so that the filtration process can be intensified and filtration speed can be increased. In this process filter residue with a lower moisture content is obtained. Suspensions with solid particles larger than 0.01 mm can generally be filtered with vertical cutting dryer.
