Main Introduction

Drilling Desilter is the third phase solids control equipment to handle the drilling fluids. Generally, there are a set of hydrocyclones in 4” or 6” in the desilter, which mainly used for separating the solid particles sized in 15~47μm from the drilling fluids. Mud desilter mainly consists of shale shaker, hydrocyclones, distribution manifold, and electric control cabinet. TRCN series desilter removes the solid particles from the drilling fluids which cannot be removed by shale shaker and desander.

Our desilter is used to separate silts from drilling muds. The cut point can be as low as 4“. As muds are being used in drilling operations, they are contaminated with silts. In order to recycle these muds, it is necessary to separate silts and also to recycle muds to dispose them at the end of work duty. TR 4”desilter can handle up to 1056 GPM of drilling fluid.
