Introduction

Mud Desilter is the third class solids control equipment to treat drilling fluids. It is composed of several sets of hydrocyclones based on customer’s capacity requirements. As for hydrocyclones, it is divided into desander hydrocyclone and desilter hydrocyclone according to different hydrocyclone diameter. Generally below 6” hydrocyclone combination is called desilter. In oil & gas drilling, 4” or 5” hydrocyclone combination are common for desilter, and 4” is the most used.

Our TRCN series desilter is mainly used for separating 15-44μm solid particles in drilling fluids. At present, TRCN series desilter manufactured by TR Solids Control is widely used in oil & gas drilling, horizontal directional drilling, coal bed methane drilling, bored piling, tunnel and other trenchless project.
