Introduction

The drilling fluid is fed into the hydrocyclones in the tangent direction by the sand pump under the pressure of 0.2~0.4Mpa. The high speed downward revolution of the fluid can generate great centrifugal force. The heavier solid particles will be thrown to the inner wall of the cyclones. The deeper and smaller the diameter of the cyclone is, the greater the angular velocity of the flowing fluid will be, generating greater centrifugal force.

TRCN series oilfield Desilter is the third class to treat the drilling fluids. According to the size of the cyclone diameter, they are divided into Desander and Desilter. Usually the cyclone diameter is less than 6" is called Desilter, and used as the third-control equipment in drilling operation. We commonly used 5 "and 4" cyclone to separate solid-phase particle size 15-47μm in the drilling fluid. Based on customer requirements and capacity, we can select groups of cyclone into Desilter.
