Mud Gas Separator is a special equipment for the primary degassing of the gas invasion drilling fluid, which is mainly used to remove the large bubbles in the gas invasion drilling fluid with a diameter of about 3mm to 25mm. Mud Gas Separator or Poor boy degasser used in separating fluids and gas while drilling. The gas invasion drilling fluid enters the separator from the inlet of the separator, and the surface area of the drilling fluid is enlarged and exposed after impacting with the impact plate. The large bubble is broken and separated from the drilling fluid. After the first degassing of the drilling fluid, the surface area of the three layers of baffles is increased again, and the remaining bubbles are broken and separated again. The free gas is discharged through the gas outlet of the top of the tank and is brought to the safety place.

Main Application

Liquid gas separator is made of suction assembly, drain pipe assembly, ladder, pedestal and tank body assembly. Before used the separator put it on the smoothy earth and connect the suction pipe. The suction pipe connect used 5″national standard flange, one side of flange welding 5″ suction line connect the pump and connect the flange by bolt. Welding ″fuller unionat the export of exhaust pipe and welding it with 8″pipeline. Connect drain pipe with 8flange and
welding the other side of this flange with 8 pipeline.
