Product Description

The rotary swivel serves two important functions in the drilling process. It is a connecting point between the circulating system and the rotary system. It also provides a fl uid seal that must absorb rotational wear while holding pressure. The upper section of the swivel has a bail for connection to the elevator hook, and the gooseneck of the swivel provides a downward-pointing connection for the rotary hose.

XSL-swivel with spinner is a combination of swivel and kelly spinner, driven by air motor or hydraulic motor,with keyless connection adopted between spinner and central pipe of swivel. It is designed and manufactured according to API Spec 8C "specification for drilling and Production Hoisting Equipment".

• Wash pipe and packing device are of cartridge,integral type structure,convenient to replace.
• The flushing pipe packing assembly adopts a box structure, which can be quickly replaced on the drill floor without removing the hose and gooseneck.
• Loaded parts are made of good-quality alloy steel.
• Double pin threaded alloy steel sub is optional.
• Ordinary Swivels are mainly composed of lifting ring, gooseneck tube, packing device, shell, central tube main bearing and joints.
• The lower joint is connected to the kelly rod through the standard thread, and the upper lifting ring is hooked. The neck tube and the hose can be connected by a standard threaded joint union as required.
• The Swive lcomplies with the American Petroleum Institute APLSpec 8c PSL1 product specification.
