API 7K PSW Hydraulic Spinning Wrench for Oilfield

Product Overview

The wrench is the best replacement of rotary rope (or chain). It is applied for the mechanized spinning operation. The applicable range of pipe diameter is wide, and it can be freely adjusted whenever necessary. There are two configurations for clamping mechanism: air tyre and air cylinder. There are two driving and controlling styles: pneumatic and hydraulic. The spinning wrench is designed and manufactured according to API Spec 7K “Specification for Drilling Equipment".

The PSW Series Pneumatic Wrench is applicable to the mechanized spinning operation. The applicable range of pipe diameter is wide. It can be adjusted according to requirements whenever necessary. There are two configurations for clamping

Apparatus: Air Tube and Air Cylinder. Driving methods are divided into two types: Pneumatic (QPSW) and Hydraulic (Model: HPSW). They are designed and manufactured according to API SPEC 7K Specification for drilling and well servicing equipment.

Operation principle

Operate the air valve with air spring to make the wheel compress the drill pipe; control the air motor valve handle, control the air motor valve handle, and start the left and right motors. The motors drive respective drive wheel through left and right reductin units. Due to the friction torque, the drill pipe rotates, and the pipe screw thread rotates in or out. The opening of wrench can adapt pipes of different diameters through adjustment without need for exchange of wheel, which makes manufacturing, application and maintenance more convenient.
