Product Overview

Choke valve is a main component of Christmas tree, is design to control production rate of the oil well, with working pressure up to 15000psi. Choke valves can be classified as follows: adjustable choke valves and positive choke valves. By rotating hand wheel to move the stem, the adjustable choke valve is designed to adjust the effective area available for the flow to accomplish control of production rate. The positive choke valve is design to accomplish control of production rate by changing flow beans.choke valves are supplied in two types: Positive and Adjustable. It's designed as per API 6A, API 16C, NACE MR0175, the structure Type: needle, barrel, cage, orifice and wedge.

Positive Choke Valve is ideally suited for a broad range of choke applications, including wellhead equipment, choke line and other pipelines under high-pressure. It's simple structure, opening indicating device and hammer union connected bonnet promotes ease of replacement and maintenance, and completely tungsten carbide pressure-controlling parts increases the valve's service life.

For the positive choke, its flow section area will be changed by using choke beans of different sizes to control the flow.

Operation instruction

According to medium flow direction and by the flowdirection indicating plate of the valve, the valve isinstalled. As positive flowing, The medium lifts the valvecore and pass easily; If no positive medium pressure,valve core will self-shut off valve gate under self-weightand spring's tensile force, the back medium flowing stop.
