Application:
The wire and cable smoke density tester conforms to GB/T17651.1~2-1998, IEC61034-1 ~ 2:1997 "Determination of Smoke Density of Cables and Optical Cables Burning Under Certain Conditions", which is used to measure the transmittance of smoke released by all insulated metallic conductor cables or optical cables used to transmit electrical energy or signals when burned horizontally under certain conditions.

Parameters:
Combustor:

- Use SUS304 thick 1.5mm stainless steel to fix on square pass bracket, and constitute whole cube combustor.
  Combustion chamber dimensions:

- 3M x 3M x 3M total 27 m3.Can be brick wall structure, also can be steel structure, by customer choice;
Optical measurement system:
Light source:

- Imported quartz halogen lamp, nominal power: 100W nominal voltage: 12V nominal light return: 2000-3000lm
  Receiver:

- silicon photocell, with light transmittance of 0% and light transmittance of 100%.The spectral response is matched with that of CIE.
  Installation:

- the pipe is installed on one end of the pipe with a length of 150, and the other end is a dustproof window. The inner wall of the pipe is shiny     black  and anti-reflection.
The light transmittance was 0%, and the light transmittance was 100%.
Standard fire source:

- Fire source is 1.0l alcohol: 90% ethanol, 4% methanol, 6% water
  Alcohol disc (combustion boat) :

- stainless steel thickness: 1.0mm, bottom: 210x110mm, top: 240x140mm, height: 80mm.
  The total air vent area:

- 50cm2±10cm2, which is always open during the test.Baffle height is 1000mm;

Combustion source:

- Ethanol: 90%±1%; 2.Methanol 4% ± 1%;Water 6% ±1%;

- Alcohol burning box:

- The alcohol combustion box is 100mm±10mm away from the ground;
