Testing Principle
Standard test specimens are compressed between parallel plates to a specified percentage using screw rotation. The assembly can be placed in an oven at controlled temperatures (optional), removed after predetermined time, allowed to cool for 30 minutes, then measured for thickness to calculate permanent set using standard formulas.
