Standard test pieces are placed between plate planes and compressed to a specific percentage using screw rotation. The assembly is then placed in an oven at a predetermined temperature (optional) for a set duration. After removal, test strips cool for 30 minutes before thickness measurement. Compression distortion is calculated using the established formula.
