Galvanized sack gabion

Sack Gabion is a cylindrical bag woven from double twisted hexagonal mesh. It conforms to ASTM A975-97 standard. During construction process, the mesh bag is filled with prefabricated stone to form a solid structure with strong permeability building materials, which are used in various emergency preparatory projects such as river protection. To facilitate the junction, coarse wire is embedded in the mesh bag. All wire selection, galvanized amount,lacing wire must comply with ASTM A975-97 standard, ie tensile strength more than 75000psi (515MPa) - ASTM A641/A641M-03.
The mesh is made from high quality steel wire, which is heavily galvanised to provide long term corrosion protection. An additional protective polymeric coating is also applied in more aggressive environments, or where a longer design life is required.
