420 is a martensitic stainless steel with 13% Chromium.
420 is magnetic in all conditions and can be heat treated for hardening.
Material 420 stainless is commonly used for cutlery, medical instrumentation, scissors, and blades.
It has good corrosion resistance, hardness and toughness.
