Cold Heading A286 Stainless Alloy Steel Wire 1.4980 UNS S66286

 

The material 1.4980 is an iron-nickel-chromium stainless alloy.

The additional alloying elements aluminum and titanium allow this material to undergo precipitation hardening

(aging) through the formation of intermetallic phases.

 

The addition of molybdenum increases the mechanical properties and resistance to creep at high temperatures.

At temperatures up to 700°C, the material 1.4980 offers excellent high-temperature strength and is clearly

superior to low-alloy steels or common stainless steels.

Components for high mechanical stress and creep strength requirements at ambient temperatures up to 700°C.
