Martensitic grades 1.4021, 1.4028, 1.4031, high strength obtained after spring formation by quench
and temper heat treatment.
final strength increases with carbon content. low ductility and corrosion resistance than other stainless steels.
Precipitation hardening steel grades 1.4568, high fatigue strength. hardenable by heat treatment to
high strength level.
high elevated temperature strength, but lower corrosion resistance than austenitic stainless.
max. temperature of use can be between 250 to 300 degree, depending on the stress, some degree of
magnetic permeability, depending on the condition.
