Type 420F, a free-machining version of Type 420, is a hardenable 13% chrome steel with higher strength,
hardness, and wear resistance than Type 410.
A hardenable stainless chromium steel characterized by very good machinability, adequate hardness,
high wear resistance and good corrosion resistance.
